What a great photo. We got our first snow here over the weekend and things froze up for the first time this season.
Of course, this picture also reminds me that pipes freeze and BURST!

hope your inside tap for the outside line is turned off.
Ahhh....I wish I knew where that inside tap is...augh!
Best to follow the line from where it exits, back .
Freezing on the outside can crack the line just inside if there is water in it. If you find it and turn it off, then open the outside to drain.
I'm not really a plumber; I just play one on the internet.
Hope you got the line shut off or a pro assessment of the risk.

I did not shut off the line. I can't find the line. Ahh!! I live in an old house so I don't think there is a line. Pro assessment of the risk? Oh dear.... maybe I'll take photos of all my outside taps and ask for everyone's feedback.
If the ceiling is open downstairs, it should be visible coming down from the exterior point. If it is heated down there, shouldn't be a problem.
I'd phone a 'real' plumber to be sure.
If it got real cold in the downstairs where the line is, then I'd say you could have trouble.
Thanks, your idea just made me think of a place I haven't looked.
