I'm discovering a little more about depth of field and the interplay with shutter speed. Here's a photo I took yesterday. It's funny how my own mood and energy affect my ability to focus and think about different ways of looking at a shot.

I was taking this row of candles from the left but after 20 or so shots I realized that the right side of the candles offered a more effective line of shadows.
